Rajesh Iyer, M.D., has two board certifications: 1. American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. 2. Brain Injury Medicine.
Dr. Iyer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He was trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Thereafter, he received an additional year of training at The Spine Institute of Cleveland Clinic, completing a fellowship in Spine Medicine.
Dr. Iyer has been on staff at William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak and Troy since 2006. He also holds the position of Assistant Professor and co-director of the Musculoskeletal Course at Oakland University, William Beaumont School of Medicine. Additionally, he is a rehabilitation consultant at Regency at Shelby Township Nursing Center.
Dr. Iyer is a lifelong Michigan resident, is married, and has five children. He has office hours for patient care at the Wellpointe, Rochester Hills office.
