Justin C. Riutta, M.D., received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his medical degree from Wayne State University. He was trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital and served as Chief Resident in 2002-2003. Dr. Riutta received additional training in Cancer Rehabilitation at The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Riutta is board certified in PM&R and electrodiagnostic studies. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, Oakland County Medical Society and the Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Riutta has received Top Doctor designations from multiple resources.

Dr. Riutta practices general PM&R, including but not limited to the management of joint and muscle disorders, nerve disorders, electrodiagnostic studies and general rehabilitation. He manages acute pain disorders, sports related injuries and directs exercise programs. He has a subspecialty in the management of cancer complications including but not limited to musculoskeletal impairment, neurological impairment, pain and lymphedema.

Dr. Riutta is the Director of Lymphedema Services and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital and is recognized national in Cancer Rehabilitation. He has written many chapters in textbooks on the topic of Cancer Rehabilitation and lectures annually at the national conference for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

He is the Chief of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department at Beaumont Hospital and an Associate Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Dr. Riutta is a lifelong resident of the state of Michigan and is married with two children.
