Lauren Brothers, DO FAAPMR
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Brothers is a board-certified physiatrist and cancer rehabilitation specialist. She earned her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Royal Oak Beaumont where she served as chief resident. Following residency, she pursued a fellowship in cancer rehabilitation at the University of Michigan. She is one of only a few physicians in the state of Michigan with this specialized training.

She provides personalized, comprehensive rehabilitation care related to cancer and cancer treatments. Utilizing careful diagnosis and management, she helps patients optimize and maintain their physical function throughout all stages of cancer survivorship. She has special interest in managing post-mastectomy pain, radiation fibrosis, and lymphedema. 

Dr. Brothers is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. In addition to her office hours, she is also on staff at Beaumont Health- Royal Oak and Beaumont Health-Troy hospitals.
