David Spiteri, M.D. is accredited by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He ranked among the top 10% of all examinees in the country participating in the certification process.

A graduate with honors of Magna Cum Laude at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Spiteri completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.

Dr. Spiteri is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Michigan State Medical Society and Association of Academic Physiatrists.

In addition, he has been recognized for his academic achievements by the PHI BETA KAPPA Honor Society, National Dean’s List, Golden Key National Honor Society, National Collegiate Natural Sciences Award Mercy College of Detroit, Dean’s List Mercy College, Wayne State University Dean’s List, and Detroit’s Top Docs.

Dr. Spiteri is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in both Royal Oak and Troy. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He serves as the Rehabilitation Consultant at Shelby Nursing Center.
